Things St. Clair Shores needs to improve

Hi all, You can expect to pay around $1,143 for rent here. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Would love some local perspective.

As someone who grew up here, I love the pace of life here. A lot has changed in the past few years though. cultural scene used to be much established but now it's improving.

I've lived in Westside for about 11 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from Seattle, I was surprised by cultural scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Good internet infrastructure
- The food scene scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Dating scene is rough
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for couples. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
