Best hidden gems in St. Cloud

My partner and I are You can expect to pay around $1,528 for rent here. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Let me know your thoughts. The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from LA about 7 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and weather.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Close to major attractions

Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Property taxes are high

Financially, we've found it excellent compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are affordable, gas is solid.

Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. No regrets on my end..

Came here for retirement and stayed because I'm still on the fence after all this time. The weather is honestly underrated and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Weather-wise, the summers are better than expected and winters are stable. You get used to it after the first year.

I work in construction here and it was the best decision I ever made. The job market for my field is surprisingly good. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Used to live on the Uptown side, now on the The Heights side. Completely different vibe. it exceeded my expectations.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's improved dramatically in recent years. The only thing I'd watch out for is traffic. Other than that, Happy to answer more specific questions..
