Let me know your thoughts. The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from LA about 7 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and weather.
Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Close to major attractions
Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Property taxes are high
Financially, we've found it excellent compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are affordable, gas is solid.
Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. No regrets on my end..
