Moving to St. Cloud -what should I know?
Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a lawyer who relocated here from Austin about 4 years ago. The main reasons were school and school.
Pros I've experienced:
- Four distinct seasons
- Close to major attractions
- Good airport with direct flights
Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Property taxes are high
Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are reasonable, gas is average.
Socially, it exceeded my expectations. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
