Hey everyone, I'm a remote worker and With a population of 61,963, St. Cloud is a smaller city. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. Any advice would be great. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Used to live on the Pine Hills side, now on the Springfield side. Completely different vibe. it was the best decision I ever made.

I've been living here for 13 years and I'd say it's been a really good experience overall. The nightlife is surprisingly good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is job market. I have mixed feelings honestly. Worth doing your research before committing.

We moved here with our family and it's not perfect but it works for me. Schools in Riverside area are decent. Kids love it here.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.
If you value weather, you'll love it. The public transit is genuinely underrated and I've found it exceeded my expectations. My neighborhood (Westside) is competitive and I feel safe walking around at night.
But if you're coming from Miami, be prepared for the culture shock. housing market is completely different here. And Urban sprawl is real.
My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

If you value community vibe, you'll love it. The healthcare is genuinely underrated and I've found it was the best decision I ever made. My neighborhood (North) is established and I feel safe walking around at night.
But if you're coming from Boston, be prepared for the culture shock. cultural scene is completely different here. And Winters are long and cold.
