OK so I've been here for 10 years and Poverty rate is 7.9%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $324,100 on average. Household incomes average around $76,196 in St. Cloud. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The food scene here is surprisingly good. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.
I've been here 14 years and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The thing nobody mentions is walkability. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into skiing, this place is surprisingly good.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Pine Hills side vs the Midtown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
No regrets on my end..

Came here for family and stayed because there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The weather is honestly solid and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is nightlife. I genuinely enjoy living here. Worth doing your research before committing.

I've been living here for 2 years and I'd say the quality of life is solid. The outdoor recreation is tough compared to other places I've lived. Overall Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's not perfect but it works for me. Good luck with whatever you decide..
