St. George is underrated, change my mind

Hi all, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Median household income is $72,870, which feels about average for the area. The median home value here is around $456,900, which is pretty steep. Poverty rate is 7.1%, which is pretty low. It's a a smaller city city with about 99,184 people. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Let me know your thoughts. The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

I work in legal here and it's not perfect but it works for me. The job market for my field is decent. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Compared to Portland it's surprisingly good.
