Worst things about St. Helens nobody talks about

Longtime lurker here, Crime rate is something to consider -St. Helens sits at 295.0 per 100K. Average temperature is around 52--F, so expect cold winters. Household incomes average around $82,123 in St. Helens. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The suburbs are where most families end up. Is this normal for St. Helens? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The suburbs are where most families end up. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The weather takes some getting used to. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

I'm a marketing manager and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. The community is pretty good and there's always something going on.
