Crime rate is something to consider -St. John sits at 21.7 per 100K. Median household income is $127,449, which feels pretty solid for the area. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Worth the trade-offs? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
