First post here. Poverty rate is 13.6%, which is around average. Crime rate is something to consider -St. Joseph sits at 568.1 per 100K. Household incomes average around $55,578 in St. Joseph. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Let me know your thoughts.
