First post here. Average temperature is around 64--F, so the weather is moderate. With a population of 1,626, St. Matthews is a small town. Crime rate is something to consider -St. Matthews sits at 473.7 per 100K. Poverty rate is 25.7%, which is higher than I expected. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
