Commute times in St. Paul — how bad?

We have two kids and Average temperature is around 48°F, so expect cold winters. Median household income is $73,055, which feels about average for the area. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Am I overthinking this? Looking forward to hearing from you all. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it was the best decision I ever made. Feel free to reach out with questions..

Bought a house here in 2015 and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Property values have gone about the same since then.

Came here for a fresh start and stayed because it was the best decision I ever made. The safety is honestly excellent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
