Random thought, I'm a college student here and Poverty rate is 5.7%, which is pretty low. With a population of 8,832, St. Pete Beach is a small town. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
