Random thought, My family moved here when I was a kid. Homes are going for about $331,500 on average. Crime rate is something to consider — St. Petersburg sits at 595.5 per 100K. With a population of 261K, St. Petersburg is a mid-size city. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good.
