Is it worth buying in St. Rose?

Anyone else feel this way? I'm originally from Cleveland and The unemployment rate is 5.6%, which is about average. Crime rate is something to consider -St. Rose sits at 235.7 per 100K. Poverty rate is 4.0%, which is pretty low. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Pros:
- Affordable cost of living
- Diverse community
- Plenty of shopping options
- Active local events

Cons:
- Limited public transit
- Hot summers
- High property taxes
- Poor road conditions
- Not enough green space
I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

I'm a software engineer and I've found there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The community is surprisingly good and there's always something going on.
