Working remotely from St. Simons

I'm a teacher here and You can expect to pay around $1,626 for rent here. It's a a small town city with about 16,026 people. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Is this normal for St. Simons? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are tough, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Compared to Dallas it's underrated.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. I genuinely enjoy living here. Compared to Dallas it's pretty good.

Bought a house here in 2022 and I'm still on the fence after all this time. Property values have gone down slightly since then.
