Dog-friendly places in St. Wendel?

Curious what people think. We're a young couple and Average temperature is around 57--F, so the weather is moderate. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Is this normal for St. Wendel? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Bought a house here in 2019 and I genuinely enjoy living here. Property values have gone about the same since then.
