Best things about Stamford that nobody talks about

As a 7-year resident, here are some things about Stamford that don't make it into the guides:

1. The farmers market on Saturday mornings is incredible
2. Several hidden gem restaurants that rival big city food
3. The sunsets here are genuinely beautiful

Check out the Lakewood area. Way more affordable and still close to everything.

Don't sleep on Riverside. It's up and coming and still affordable.

Can confirm the safety issue. But it really depends on the neighborhood. Old Town and Lakewood are perfectly safe.
