Weekend activities in Stamford?

Anyone else feel this way? I'm originally from Charlotte and With a population of 1,101, Stamford is a small town. Crime rate is something to consider -Stamford sits at 186.2 per 100K. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Thoughts? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

My experience has been mostly positive. it exceeded my expectations. The only thing I'd watch out for is walkability. Other than that, Happy to answer more specific questions..
