Is Star Valley getting better or worse?

Alright, I'm single, late 50s, and It's a a small town city with about 2,517 people. Rent is about $966/month for a decent place. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

We moved here with our family and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Schools in Eastside area are decent. Kids love it here.
