Random thought, It's a a smaller city city with about 25,611 people. With a population of 25,611, Starkville is a smaller city. You can expect to pay around $875 for rent here. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Came here for work and stayed because I love the pace of life here. The safety is honestly underrated and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Public transit is solid here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's improved dramatically in recent years.
