Healthcare options in Statesville?

I'm a remote worker and Rent is about $935/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 4.8%, which is about average. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Public transit is excellent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's improved dramatically in recent years.

My experience has been mostly positive. I'm still on the fence after all this time. The only thing I'd watch out for is cultural scene. Other than that, Good luck with whatever you decide..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a HR manager who relocated here from San Diego about 11 years ago. The main reasons were retirement and quality of life.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Not very walkable outside downtown

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are developing, gas is better than expected.

Socially, the quality of life is solid. Definitely worth checking out..
