The good and bad of living in Statesville
Hey, Just moved here 9 months ago and The median home value here is around $226,100, which is actually reasonable. You can expect to pay around $935 for rent here. Rent is about $935/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 4.8%, which is about average. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Any advice would be great. Cheers. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
