Best apartments in Staunton under ?

Alright, I'm single, late 30s, and The unemployment rate is 3.0%, which is pretty low. Average temperature is around 54--F, so expect cold winters. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Am I wrong here? Thanks in advance! Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a pharmacist who relocated here from New York about 7 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Good schools in most areas
- Active local events and festivals

Cons that are real:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Road conditions need improvement

Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are wild, gas is surprisingly good.

Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. No regrets on my end..
