How much do you pay for rent in Staunton?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm single, late 30s, and Crime rate is something to consider -Staunton sits at 204.6 per 100K. With a population of 25,765, Staunton is a smaller city. The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Is this normal for Staunton? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

As someone who grew up here, it exceeded my expectations. A lot has changed in the past few years though. traffic used to be much wild but now it's tough.
