Staunton in the winter -how bad?

Hey, Born and raised here. Poverty rate is 8.3%, which is pretty low. It's a a smaller city city with about 25,765 people. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are surprisingly good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
