Weekend activities in Sterling?

OK so I'm single, late 40s, and Rent is about $1,052/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 4.2%, which is about average. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a sales manager who relocated here from Pittsburgh about 5 years ago. The main reasons were family and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Active local events and festivals
- Affordable housing options

Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Limited shopping options

Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are established, gas is tough.

Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
