Rent vs buy in Sterling Heights — what makes sense?

Hey everyone, Homes are going for about $260,700 on average. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Would love some local perspective. Thanks in advance! The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
