Is Stevens Point worth moving to in 2026?

Anyone else feel this way? We have two kids and Homes are going for about $189,700 on average. Median household income is $56,218, which feels about average for the area. The unemployment rate is 3.2%, which is pretty low. It's a a smaller city city with about 25,497 people. You can expect to pay around $874 for rent here. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development. What would you do? Appreciate any input. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. I love the pace of life here. Compared to San Diego it's better than expected.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. the quality of life is solid. Internet is surprisingly good in most areas.
