Housing in Stevenson compared to Nashville

First post here. I work in food service and Median household income is $48,214, which feels on the lower side for the area. It's a a small town city with about 1,947 people. Crime rate is something to consider -Stevenson sits at 347.7 per 100K. Household incomes average around $48,214 in Stevenson. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Has anyone dealt with this? The food scene here is surprisingly good. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

I'm a nurse and I've found it's not perfect but it works for me. The community is average and there's always something going on.
