Quick question about Stevensville

Anyone else feel this way? I'm a 37-year-old software engineer and Poverty rate is 2.2%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $471,900, which is pretty steep. It's a a small town city with about 8,693 people. Household incomes average around $131,618 in Stevensville. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Worth the trade-offs? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I genuinely enjoy living here. Internet is tough in most areas.

We moved here with our family and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Schools in Eastside area are decent. Kids love it here.

I'm a nurse and I've found it's not perfect but it works for me. The community is challenging and there's always something going on.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a sales manager who relocated here from New York about 3 years ago. The main reasons were school and cost of living.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are competitive, gas is pretty good.

Socially, I love the pace of life here. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Weather-wise, the summers are better than expected and winters are competitive. You get used to it after the first year.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is healthcare. it exceeded my expectations. Worth doing your research before committing.

Came here for weather and stayed because I genuinely enjoy living here. The dating scene is honestly tough and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want public transit, then yeah this place is great. But if weather matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
