How is the nightlife in Stickney?

Random thought, Military spouse here. You can expect to pay around $1,114 for rent here. The median home value here is around $236,000, which is actually reasonable. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

Came here for family and stayed because it's improved dramatically in recent years. The pet-friendliness is honestly better than expected and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Bought a house here in 2023 and I genuinely enjoy living here. Property values have gone about the same since then.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 2 years and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The thing nobody mentions is safety. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the safety is legit. And if you're into hiking, this place is solid.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Old Town side vs the Highland side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Definitely worth checking out..
