Considering Stockton vs Cincinnati — help me decide

Hi all, Just moved here 6 months ago and Median household income is $76,851, which feels about average for the area. You can expect to pay around $1,495 for rent here. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I've lived in Old Town for about 3 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from Boston, I was surprised by outdoor recreation. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- The outdoor recreation scene is improving

The downsides:
- Road conditions need improvement
- Homeless population growing downtown

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for young professionals. Happy to answer more specific questions..
