Is public transit usable in Stone Mountain?

Hey, With a population of 6,639, Stone Mountain is a small town. You can expect to pay around $1,369 for rent here. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are better than expected, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

As someone who grew up here, it was the best decision I ever made. A lot has changed in the past few years though. cultural scene used to be much developing but now it's hit or miss.

Moved here from LA about 9 years ago. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Still getting used to community vibe but Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I've lived in Maple Ridge for about 10 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. When I first moved here from Nashville, I was surprised by safety. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Good internet infrastructure
- The cultural scene scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Limited shopping options

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for singles. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Hot take but it was the best decision I ever made. I know a lot of people disagree but after 2 years here, that's my honest assessment.

My experience has been mostly positive. it was the best decision I ever made. The only thing I'd watch out for is walkability. Other than that, Definitely worth checking out..

Used to live on the The Heights side, now on the Pine Hills side. Completely different vibe. I have mixed feelings honestly.
