Not sure if this has been asked before, but With a population of 1,970, Stone Ridge is a small town. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Is this normal for Stone Ridge? TIA! Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

I've lived in Downtown for about 6 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it was the best decision I ever made. When I first moved here from Tampa, I was surprised by outdoor recreation. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Decent public transit for the size
- The public transit scene is pretty good
The downsides:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Road conditions need improvement
Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for couples. Hope this helps!.

Came here for work and stayed because it was the best decision I ever made. The safety is honestly better than expected and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

My experience has been mostly positive. I love the pace of life here. The only thing I'd watch out for is weather. Other than that, Feel free to reach out with questions..
