Anyone else love living in Stone Ridge?

I'm single, late 50s, and The median home value here is around $666,300, which is pretty steep. You can expect to pay around $2,761 for rent here. The unemployment rate is 1.3%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Stone Ridge sits at 49.9 per 100K. Rent is about $2,761/month for a decent place. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Pros:
- Diverse community
- Plenty of shopping options
- Active local events
- Good airport connections

Cons:
- Hot summers
- Limited dining options
- Lack of diversity
The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem improving.

I've been here 14 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is weather. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the safety is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is challenging.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Cedar Grove side vs the The Heights side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is pet-friendliness. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Worth doing your research before committing.
