Best neighborhoods in Stone Ridge

Hi all, It's a a small town city with about 16,340 people. Household incomes average around $183,211 in Stone Ridge. Poverty rate is 2.5%, which is pretty low. You can expect to pay around $2,761 for rent here. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. Should I be concerned? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a accountant who relocated here from Phoenix about 11 years ago. The main reasons were family and school.

Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Good internet infrastructure
- Active local events and festivals

Cons that are real:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Homeless population growing downtown

Financially, we've found it excellent compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are manageable, gas is pretty good.

Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
