Stone Ridge is underrated, change my mind

First post here. Been living here since 2006. Average temperature is around 55--F, so expect cold winters. With a population of 16,340, Stone Ridge is a small town. Household incomes average around $183,211 in Stone Ridge. Crime rate is something to consider -Stone Ridge sits at 49.9 per 100K. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Worth the trade-offs? Property taxes are high but you get good services. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up.

Came here for my partner's job and stayed because I have mixed feelings honestly. The pet-friendliness is honestly better than expected and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
