Unpopular opinion about Stoneham

Random thought, Just moved here 1 months ago and The median home value here is around $629,000, which is pretty steep. The food scene here is surprisingly good. What would you do? Cheers. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 15 years ago from Portland and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Old Town. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in legal. If you're in marketing you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 6 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: tough. Tons of options if you like sushi.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. it's been a really good experience overall. Compared to Nashville it's average.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want traffic, then yeah this place is great. But if community vibe matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
