Not sure if this has been asked before, but Homes are going for about $283,900 on average. With a population of 13,063, Stoughton is a small town. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Anyone in a similar situation? Thanks for reading. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
