Life in Stow as a young professional

So, We're a young couple and The median home value here is around $238,000, which is actually reasonable. Homes are going for about $238,000 on average. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. What neighborhoods would you suggest?

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want cultural scene, then yeah this place is great. But if traffic matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a data analyst who relocated here from Pittsburgh about 10 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Decent public transit for the size
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Homeless population growing downtown

Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are established, gas is excellent.

Socially, the quality of life is solid. No regrets on my end..
