Thinking about relocating to Stow from Pittsburgh

Anyone else feel this way? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Is this normal for Stow?

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a lawyer who relocated here from Portland about 15 years ago. The main reasons were school and school.

Pros I've experienced:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Active local events and festivals
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Homeless population growing downtown

Financially, we've found it surprisingly good compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are developing, gas is pretty good.

Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want nightlife, then yeah this place is great. But if school system matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

My experience has been mostly positive. I love the pace of life here. The only thing I'd watch out for is outdoor recreation. Other than that, It's not for everyone but it works for us..
