Considering Stratmoor vs Raleigh -help me decide

So, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Median household income is $62,759, which feels about average for the area. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Should I be concerned? Appreciate any input. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

We moved here with our family and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Schools in Sunset area are pretty good. Kids love it here.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 1 years and it was the best decision I ever made. The thing nobody mentions is dating scene. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cost of living is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is better than expected.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Midtown side vs the Uptown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..
