Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a remote worker and Crime rate is something to consider -Stratmoor sits at 458.3 per 100K. Rent is about $1,244/month for a decent place. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Let me know your thoughts. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up.
