Hey folks, I'm a college student here and Crime rate is something to consider -Streator sits at 274.8 per 100K. Homes are going for about $88,000 on average. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Should I be concerned? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
