I'm a college student here and Rent is about $1,540/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $1,540 for rent here. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Weather-wise, the summers are better than expected and winters are pricey. You get used to it after the first year.

Public transit is solid here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I have mixed feelings honestly.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Internet is pretty good in most areas.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is public transit. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Worth doing your research before committing.
