Is Suffolk good for remote workers?

First post here. We have two kids and Household incomes average around $90,089 in Suffolk. Median household income is $90,089, which feels pretty solid for the area. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Anyone in a similar situation?

I've lived in Fairview for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I'm still on the fence after all this time. When I first moved here from Chicago, I was surprised by housing market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:

- Cost of living is very reasonable

- Active local events and festivals

- The walkability scene is challenging

The downsides:

- Not a lot of cultural diversity

- Chain restaurants dominate

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for families. Feel free to reach out with questions..
