Best restaurants in Sugar Hill?

Hi all, I'm retired and Homes are going for about $375,900 on average. The unemployment rate is 2.2%, which is pretty low. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. What do you all think? The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem pretty good.

I've been here 10 years and it was the best decision I ever made. The thing nobody mentions is pet-friendliness. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the nightlife is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is surprisingly good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Pine Hills side vs the Meadowbrook side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Used to live on the North side, now on the Highland side. Completely different vibe. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.
