Hi all, I'm a teacher here and Household incomes average around $137,511 in Sugar Land. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. What are your go-to spots? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
