Sugarmill Woods is underrated, change my mind
Curious what people think. Been living here since 2020. Average temperature is around 73--F, so it's warm year-round. Rent is about $1,200/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $1,200 for rent here. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Is this normal for Sugarmill Woods? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The suburbs are where most families end up. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
