Sulphur Springs housing prices -when will it stop?

Alright, I'm single, late 50s, and Average temperature is around 65--F, so the weather is moderate. You can expect to pay around $1,049 for rent here. Rent is about $1,049/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $56,457 in Sulphur Springs. Poverty rate is 12.2%, which is around average. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Pros:
- Low crime in most areas
- Strong sense of community
- Walkable downtown
- Plenty of shopping options

Cons:
- Sprawl everywhere
- Not very walkable
- Not enough green space
Thoughts? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. Used to live on the Maple Ridge side, now on the Meadowbrook side. Completely different vibe. it exceeded my expectations.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Internet is decent in most areas.

Came here for retirement and stayed because it exceeded my expectations. The healthcare is honestly excellent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Moved here from Miami about 2 years ago. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Still getting used to traffic but It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a chef who relocated here from Phoenix about 4 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Diverse dining options
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Property taxes are high

Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are reasonable, gas is better than expected.

Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. Definitely worth checking out..
